Association of Juvenile Judges, Family Judges and Experts for Young Children, as nonprofit organization, will hold the Second International Conference on the Stop Program – Rights of  Children and Youth in Criminal Procedure and Challenges in applying alternative approaches / diversion measures on 10th of December in Zagreb, Hotel Dubrovnik from 9:00 to 17:00. It is organized in cooperation with Child and Youth Protection Center of Zagreb and Brave Phone as part of the AWAY / Alternative Ways to Address Youth project supported by the Terre des hommes foundation.

Global, European and national experts will exchange perspectives on the area of juvenile justice at the conference which will engage 150 expert participants and engage in promoting an alternative approach to community protection and crime prevention of children.

International speakers are: Antony Capizzi - President of the National Association of Judges for Juveniles and Family Judges of the United States, Astrid Podsiadlowski - Head of the Children's Rights Unit of the EU Human Rights Agency, Renate Winter - UN Representative of the Children's Rights Committee, Ingrid Breit - European Commission Representative, DG Justice, and Viki Sebhelyi - representative of Terre des hommess.

Domestic experts are: Anja Mirosavljević, PhD, University of Zagreb, Faculty of Education and  Rehabilitation Sciences, Assistant Professor of Criminal Law, Dalida Ritossa, PhD, University of Rijeka, Faculty of Law, Rijeka, Prof. Gordana Flander Buljan, PhD, Director of the Child and Youth Protection Center of Zagreb and Lana Peto Kujundžić, PhD, President of USZM.
