Keeping Children Safe are in the process of organizing a training program in Sofia, Bulgaria on the topic of Child Safeguarding Focal Points within organisations. They would like to explore the interest in the event.

The workshop aims at preparing focal points which would contribute to the embedment of child safeguarding measures in an organisation. Therefore, participants would have the opportunity to "learn and plan how to disseminate key child safeguarding procedures across the organisation."

Objectives of the training include:
•To develop awareness on Child Safeguarding
•To increase understanding on minimum standards for Child protection / Child safeguarding 
•Identify best practices in communication / human resource management / programs in relation to Child Safeguarding
•Understand key aspects of Child safeguarding training plan for staff and partners
•Share experiences, good practice and tools

The training is planned for 3 days in the Centre for Inclusive Education, 1000 Sofia, 133 Knyaz Boris I str. The planned start is on Tuesday 12th June, 2018 at 09:30 until Thusday 14th June, 2018 - 16:30.
