Early childhood education and care (ECEC) programmes can help refugees and asylum seekers to integrate into new countries. This short animation dramatises the findings of a report looking at these programmes in nine countries (Belgium, Canada, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Turkey and the United States).

The report, 'Responding to the ECEC Needs of Children of Refugees and Asylum Seekers in Europe and North America', was put together by the Migration Policy Institute and National Center on Immigration Policy with the support of the Transatlantic Forum on Inclusive Early Years (TFIEY).
