On the third anniversary of the EU-Turkey deal, 25 humanitarian, human rights and volunteer organisations are calling on EU leaders to take immediate action to end the unfair and unnecessary containment policy which is preventing asylum seekers from leaving the Greek islands. Thousands of people, including unaccompanied children, are trapped in overcrowded, dirty and unsafe conditions.

Greek and European leaders are failing to provide adequate care and living conditions for all, including vulnerable people such as pregnant women and unaccompanied minors.

Read the joint letter here, signed by 25 prominent organizations working in the field.
