Attila Fülöp, State Secretary for Social Affairs at the Ministry of National Resources, said at a community event in Tar, Nógrád County, that the government will introduce a foster parenting allowance from 1 January 2020. According to the Secretary of State, in Hungary, 15,000 children live with foster parents and 8,000 in foster homes. Therefore, developing and strengthening the foster care network is crucial as it is important to set a good example for these children.
