In the premises of the Center for Youth Integration, on April 7th 2017, a meeting of Resource Persons of the Regional Resource Centre for Child Protection for South East Europe - Child Hub was organised. The meeting was attended by 8 people and the main topic was Advocacy Plan and its implementation within the project.
Serbian Advocacy Plan, as one of the major upcoming activities that will be implemented during this year will consist of creating and accreditation of Training Program for professionals from Centers for Social Work. Additionally, plan is to organize one pilot training and webinar on ChildHub, but also to create Manual for people who work with vulnerable children.
These activities and outcomes are focused on responding to one of the needs and recommendations from the Baseline Study that was conducted by Prof. Dr Nevenka Žegarac during 2015. Majority of professionals who participated in the research expressed their need for additional training on communication skills, intervention and working with children from most vulnerable groups or children who have experienced some form of violence, children with trauma.
