Minsk to host meeting of UN Group of Friends United against Human Trafficking

Belarusan News reports that the second international meeting of the UN Group of Friends Against Human Trafficking is to take place in Minsk on 30-31 July. The seminar, which is to commemorate the World Day Against Human Trafficking, will focus on the efforts to eradicate human trafficking for sexual and labor exploitation and Internet child pornography, according to Konstantin Shalkevich, the head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.OSCE Special Representative and Coordinator for Combatting Trafficking in Human Beings Madina Jarbussynova and Regional Director of the IOM Regional Office for South-Eastern Europe and Central Asia Renate Held will both deliver welcoming speeches.
