According to Moldpress News Agency, almost 5,853 children turned to the Children's Phone Service in 2018. Most of the minors often asked for counseling in situations of harassment, sentimental issues, relationships and patterns related to anxiety and sexuality.

The head of the press service of the Ministry of Healthcare, Labour and Social Protection (MSMPS), Cristina Stratulat, said that in 580 cases, adults and children called for info on the service specifics, rights of the child and ways of knowing and studying them, about the procedure for requesting material aid or info on setting up a meeting with children. The age of children which dialed it varies from 07 to 18.

Only in 2018, there were reported 328 cases of serious violation of child rights.

The Child's Phone Service was launched in June 2014 and during this period it was called 30,969 times. The Child's phone number 116 111 is active 24/24 and can be called free of charge from any fixed or mobile telephone network, anonymous and confidential. It can also be accessed throughout communication on internet.
