Racism, segregation, and rejection: The reality for Romani children in the Czech Republic

‘Amnesty International’ reports on the still ongoing persistent failures and segregation in the Czech educational system when dealing with Romani children. Discrimination towards Romani pupils goes from racist bullying to being placed in schools for pupils with ‘mild mental disabilities’, the group points out this in clear breach of Czech, European Union (EU), and international human rights anti-discrimination legislation.
