Ukraine Today reports that new classes are being opened to refugee children where they are taught basic German. Although most of the minors are from Syria, there are other students from different continents. These other students include Poles, Koreans and Peruvians. The classes are offered to help children feel comfortable in the foreign enviornment.

Each student is given 12 months to attend the special German courses before they can start regular classes. Progress is slow, but students are eager to learn and the teachers are open to help.
