George Hollingbery from The News reports that there is a moral duty on Britain and the rest of Europe, when it comes to allowing Syrian refugees into their country. As seen along many coastlines of Europe, many refugees are in danger especially when placed in the hands of a human traffickers.
The reason behind the pressure on the United Kingdom government to do more is two folded. Firstly, it provides refugees with a safe route to the UK and secondly, it prevents the demand for human traffickers and it pulls people from making such dangerous journeys.
The UK is the second largest bilateral aid donor for the Syrian conflict. The UK helps through making education, clean water and food accessible for millions children.
