On 28 July 2016, a workshop "Exchange of experience between Case Management Roundtables (CMR's) of municipalities of Gjakova, Obiliq, Klina and Istog" was held with the support of Terre des Hommes offices in Prishtina. The workshop was organized in order to exchange experiences between CMR's that had previously been established but also ones newly formed, engaged in inter-sectoral work, in case management of children with moderate and high risk.
In the workshop, two models previously established were presented, the CMR from municipalities of Gjakova and Obilic following with two new CMRs such as Klina and Istog. When working in groups, members of CMRs shared information about their experiences, their cooperation and also good practices on "Case management and multidisciplinary work processes", through sharing experiences of cases from the practice like identification, referral, assessment, planning and review.
Exchange of experience between CMR's is seen by participants as a good opportunity to model good practices discussed by the members, to serve as a model for raising the level of management, coordination and delivery of services while respecting the highest interests of children.
The joint conclusion of the participants was on: "Contemplating the best way to protect children is when the institutions work together, exchanging information and taking joint decisions in the best interests for children, in order to support children and families."
20 participants participated in the workshop: representatives from the Center for Social Work, CMR managers, representatives from the Department of Education, from the Office for Communities and Returnees, Kosovo Police - Community sector unit against domestic violence, from the sector of the Anti trafficking - officials for children's rights, NGOs and representatives from TDH.
