Global Partnership to End Violence Against Children and Childhub have organized a Training of Trainers this week on the seven INSPIRE strategies in Tbilisi, GEORGIA! Today we are wrapping up the training with practice runs, where the participants can actually run short sessions with their peers, presenting one or the other INSPIRE strategy.
Over the past one and half days the trainers were observing the session organized for Georgian policy-makers and NGOs, conducted by Sabine Rakotomalala from the Global Partnership and Maria Bray from Terre des hommes. We were happy to see some of you following our live stream of this event.

“I was impressed how structured the strategies are” said Tamara Barbakadze from World Vision Armenia.

If you have missed the live stream, make sure to follow Childhub INSPIRE webinar series featuring some of the good practices identified for each of the seven strategies. Here you can find the past and upcoming webinars, as well as all INSPIRE related materials available on Childhub. Our next webinar on strategy number 6 featuring a Programe for supporting street connected children in Georgia is coming soon – Wednesday, January 30th with a start at 3pm CET! Interested to know who took part on the training and what practices were presented? Feel free to check it here.

The INSPIRE represents an evidence-based approach to revitalizing, focusing, and expanding current multisectoral efforts to prevent and respond to violence against children. It was developed in collaboration with the WHO, CDC, the Global Partnership to End Violence Against Children, PEPFAR, PAHO, UNICEF, UNODC, USAID, Together for Girls, and the World Bank. The package is based on convergence between these agencies and partnerships in the strategies they have been recommending, and presents the best available evidence.
