Ensuring that Child Protection Mechanisms Protect the Rights and Meet the Needs of Child Victims of Human Trafficking

Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe has produced a publication as a follow-up of the 17th Alliance against Trafficking in Persons conference and the recommendations formulated during the conference. The document is especially relevant for state-run child protection agencies as it includes advice on how to ensure effective and sustainable solutions that are in the best interest of a trafficked child. In this publication you can find more information on the principles concerning the protection of children who are victims of trafficking, the decision making process, including what decisions have to be made concerning trafficked children, pre-requisites for making those decisions,  implementing decisions to ensure child`s recovery, to return trafficked child to the place of origin, as well as key conclusions and recommendations.
