The Eastern European and Central Asian AIDS Conference, Moscow, May 2006, represents a potential turning point for the fight against HIV/AIDS in the region. For the first time, communities of leaders, scientists, non-governmental organisations and people living with HIV/AIDS came together to share insights and jointly strategies on how to reverse the course of the epidemic.
