A Guide to the Juvenile Justice System

Making Policy Public – a program of the Center for Urban Pedagogy – has published a comic book in the United States in order to help teenagers understand the system of Juvenile Justice. This American publication is a good example of how to help children understand “adult” processes. It helps them on how to behave with the authorities, and it also contains a brief but clear-cut dictionary with terms teenagers might hear throughout the process. Making Policy Public is a program of the Center for Urban Pedagogy (CUP) that pairs policy advocates with graphic designers to produce foldouts like this comic book.
