The project 'Connect', funded by the European Commission, seeks to examine the reception, protection and integration policies for unaccompanied children. One of the activities of the project is to carry out mapping in four countries in the EU (the Netherlands, Italy, Sweden and the UK), focusing on the actors who are engaged in responding to the arrival of unaccompanied children. The Project examines how they work, individually and in cooperation with each other, with an aim to assessing how they can best fulfill EU obligations concerning unaccompanied children, in line with the rights of the child.

The report, after making detailed observations and studies, makes recommendations on how to ammend legal and policy framewroks that might challenge the reponse of the different acrtors and agencies in their goal to help migrant unaccompanied children.
