During 2018, Terre des hommes Albania in collaboration with the State Agency for Children's Rights and Protection, undertook the study "Mapping of the basic child protection structures (at local level) and prioritization of their capacity building needs" based on the steps defined in the National Agenda for Children (2017-2020).

The study brings an overview of designated child protection structures at the local level and prioritizes the self-declared needs for training of the staff engaged in child protection. The findings and recommendations aim to inform the responsible agencies involved in the development of concrete training plans for this category of professionals.

It was carried out within the framework of 'CHILDHUB / www.childhub.org’ efforts to support the professional empowerment of specialists in the field of child welfare and protection in our region.
