The UNHCR has published its study, "The Projected Global Resettlement Needs 2017". The report indicates that despite increasing capacity among countries to absord refugees, the global capacity still does not satisfy the number of asylum seekers around the world. In 2017, the projected number of resettlement needs will rise to 1.19 million, from 691,000 in the year 2014.
