The new Strategy for the Prevention and Protection of Children against Violence also included children who had the opportunity to say what they think about violence against children.

Two years after the end of the previous Strategy for the Prevention and Protection of Children against Violence, in 2017 in Serbia, the creation of a new strategic framework for the systemic protection of children from violence began. The process of drafting the new Strategy has been unified by experts, civil society organizations and decision-makers in a comprehensive way, and it is important to have direct involvement of children in the process of development of this relevant document.

Striving for children to be an active part of the process of the new strategic framework for the protection of children against violence, Friends of children of Serbia in partnership with the UNICEF office in Serbia organized a series of activities within the project "Children in Action! Adults and children together to safe and secure childhood". One of them involved researching attitudes and opinions of children about violence.
