About the webinar:

The Child Sex Trafficking Series has been revitalized for 2018. The updated modules include an emphasized public health approach to the issue, with more opportunities to review case studies. It is open to any professional with the desire to learn more about the issue of human trafficking. It is encouraged that interested individuals participate in the Fundamentals of Child Sex Trafficking before moving forward into any of the other modules, as they are presented on the basis that the audience has a general understanding of the issue. However, the modules do not need to be completed in any particular order and are open to all audiences.

This webinar aims to expand the understanding of human trafficking to include forced sexual and labor exploitation of adults and children in countries all over the world.  Push-pull factors contributing to trafficking will be considered, the vulnerabilities experienced by migrant populations, adversities faced by victims and strategies for effective recognition and care of survivors.
