Start and finish time of webinar
3-4pm CET

Would you say an approach that enables citizens as rights holders to demand their rights and empowers them to influence the quality, efficiency and accountability of public services is effective for child protection? Do you agree child participation has an added value for child protection? Would having the most vulnerable children heard in shaping the local child protection mechanism make the mechanism more effective?

The Child Protection and Participation Learning Hub, a platform for exchange innovation, experience, and knowledge, has developed seven concepts to ensure the quality of the programming, learning and evidence. During this webinar we will discuss two of those concepts - Citizen Voice and Action with children for child protection and Child Protection Referral and Respond Mechanism for the most vulnerable. Join us to learn more about the challenges in having children actively participated and being heard, some unintended negative consequences and possible unexpected outcomes!

This webinar would be particularly interesting for the child protection and child participation staff, alongside with Learning and Evidence staff of the child protection related agencies, donors and everyone else interested in influencing child protection and child participation policies.
