Theory of Change in Child Protection Work

Recently there is a wide discussion on the Theory of Change - outcomes-based approach which applies critical thinking to the design,
implementation and evaluation of initiatives and programmes intended to support change in their contexts. I would like to open this discussion considering that there are several programs/ initiatives in the area of child protection work. Considering the complexity of such work, it would be good to start thinking how such interventions or programs are really supporting changes in our local contexts, how do we see that change, to what factors do we attribute that, how is measured , how is evaluated?
Any ideas or articles are welcomed to share.. many thanks

an interesting material on Theory of Change

Trying to do some research of materials, I found the following material,, attached.. Girls not Brides- Theory of Change.
The Theory of Change has been developed to facilitate greater partnership and collaboration among and across organisations, sectors and levels. It serves as a foundation to build consensus about actions needed to address child marriage and support married girls, in both the long and short- term. In addition, it provides a basis to understand where programming efforts are currently focused,
in particular among Girls Not Brides members, and to highlight where further work is needed. In this sense, the Theory of Change offers both a mirror and a target.

I wonder if in this region there is some thinking on how to bring the issue on Child marriage into a more focus for joint thinking, analysis and finding joint methods to tackle it..

'We need to focus on the development of the adults in the kids' life - so they are better prepared to be parents, etc....'
